I don't see link bouncing with ERI and GEM either, though like Peter said it might be the culprit of the PHY or it's driver; brgphy(4) isn't exactly in a good shape and unlike FreeBSD the NetBSD one has DSP fixup code for the BCM5754/5 which might be relevant also.
