Hrm. The eternal quandry posed by the vendor branch. I maintain a small
archive of patches for little things like this, so I guess it's not beyond
the realm of possibility to continue applying these patches pre-buildworld.
This version of nvi has become my primary editor. I would love to see it
patched permanently, but not at the expense of other functionality or caus-
ing outright breakage in the nvi editor if you think this could be a
potential problem.
