Hmm, so I had to make bland to agree. :-)
Nontheless, I hope there might be other suggestions of handling this.
It's a pity that glib applications don't work like any other FreeBSD
applications in terms of locale, and you need additional tweaks to
make them work correctly with localized filenames (when even native glib
Linux users don't have this problem). So we definitelty
had to solve this problem in some way, or document this in handbook
if we'll decide to live that as is.
