Hi=20

Similar problem for me for long time (older gnome)
http://filebin.ca/uyhjvu/notifiction-area-glitches.png
(note problem near skype icon)
Looks like it shows one icon over another, and it happens time-to time
Right-click menu over broken part of NA fixes problem temporary.

gnome-applets-2.26.3
notification-daemon-0.4.0_1

I haven't noticed any problems, but I don't use the NA heavily on my
test box. I see there is one pending NA patch in git relatign to
compositing, but that's it. So this could be a new bug which should be
reported upstream.
