But I noticed that I can piecewise add parameters to the wlan0 interface: ifconfig wlan0 inet 10.0.0.1/24 <<<<<<<<< adds the IP ifconfig ssid OFFICE <<<<<<<<<< adds the ssid Only passing all parametrs in one line I fail to manage. -- Christoph
