Hi Dominic,

I think it boils don't to our mindset of "I'll patch is in here now
and fix/upstream it later". I think we all can same time by opting for
- "A seems broken, I'll send an RFC upstream and at the same time if
we need to we can merge that locally".

Then again, occasionally, I'm also like that so I think we all can improve.
