Sure.  The IBM is one of the few machines that the TOP slot is slot

You are welcome.  So far I've fixed one bug in pccardd that I
introduced.  I'm now using the same pccardd with old and new kernels.

I'm still only a little closer to having a solution for the pccard
hanging on boot.  I suspect either a) the bridge using the wrong type
of interrupt signalling or b) the bridge is fine, but needs more bits
cleared in some status register to properly ack the interrupt.
