I found that one of the two drivers (gx or wx, I would have to look back
at my notes to see which) would not go into promiscuous mode.  I found
that the other of those two drivers would seemingly lock up when I was
moving files through it at a full load (on a 100Mbps half-duplex
network).  I have seen neither of these problems with the em driver
(thank goodness!).
