Alas, no luck. Same result as before.

Running=20
pkg -N reports
ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libcrypto.so.9: version OPENSSL_1_1_0 required =
by /usr/local/lib/libpkg.so.4 not defined,

running=20
pkg-static -N reports
pkg-static: Warning: Major OS version upgrade detected.=C2=A0 Running "pkg-=
static install -f pkg" recommended
pkg-static: 511 packages installed

So maybe this is fallout of the SSL update.

It's unclear to me if the "Warning...." message can simply be ignored.
Make doesn't seem to stop.

I'd be grateful for any pointers to a way out of this pickle.

Thanks for reading,
