> I am wondering what this bpf does? I see it on boot up. Here is dmesg: ?beserkeley packet forwarding? ?bypass packet forwarding? ????? The kernel has been recompiled with the GATEWAY option enabled. Both of my machines (freebsd and sparc2) can ping each other. Freebsd is router to Sun. PPP enabled and working on freebsd. It doesn't seem like packets are being forwarded from the bsd to the Sun. I am setting up static routes. Is there a command to enable packet forwarding? dave
