OK, here's a slightly better report form me. The 950322-SNAP machine is running a bt946C, and the -current (as of 30 March) machine is running an Adaptec 1742 (or 1740 - I forget. It's an EISA machine.) The DAT drive is the Connor 4236 (?) DDS II, which identifies itself at startup as: ahb0 targ 5 lun 0: <ARCHIVE Python 28388-XXX4.98> on one machine, and: bt0: Bt946C/ 0-PCI/EISA/VLB(32bit) bus bt0: reading board settings, busmastering, int=11 bt0: version 4.25J, async only, parity, 32 mbxs, 32 ccbs bt0: targ 0 async bt0: targ 5 async bt0: targ 6 async bt0: Enabling Round robin scheme bt0 at 0x330 irq 11 on isa bt0 waiting for scsi devices to settle (bt0:0:0): "SEAGATE ST32550N 0011" is a type 0 fixed SCSI 2 sd0(bt0:0:0): Direct-Access 2047MB (4194058 512 byte sectors) (bt0:5:0): "ARCHIVE Python 28388-XXX 4.98" is a type 1 removable SCSI 2 st0(bt0:5:0): Sequential-Access density code 0x13, drive empty (bt0:6:0): "TOSHIBA CD-ROM XM-3501TA 3384" is a type 5 removable SCSI 2 cd0(bt0:6:0): CD-ROM cd0(bt0:6:0): NOT READY asc:3a,0Medium not present on the other (just being more complete on this machine).
