Did you know that Motif -requires- the use of the Motif library (Xm)?  
Also, be aware that Motif is a commercial product, it isn't free, you'll 
either have to buy it, or get a copy of Motif that some else has compiled 
(statically linked with Motif) for you.  There is such a thing in 
incoming on ftp.cdrom.com.
