*Wonderful*  I can now whole-heartedly recommend the newer Versas (I
have an older model).

I *think* the 'double-click' is an extension to the protocol which is
not yet supported in XFree86, although I have no way of knowing this.

You may want to ask on the XFree86 newsgroup to see if anyone knows
anything about this.
