I used the handbook.html docs that come from ftp.cdrom.com/pub/FreeBSD/docs/handbook-html.tar.gz and it worked like a charm. The only thing you need watch is that you customize your script in /ect/ppp/ppp.conf, and you can see the man-page for chat about that, under CHAT SCRIPT. my ppp works fine, except for a little trouble sending in pine.
