No. :-) I think there is a kernel build how-to somewhere (perhaps in the FAQ?), but basically you need to: 1) cd /sys/i386/conf and copy GENERIC to 'YOURCONFIG' 2) edit it and take out anything you know that you don't need 3) config 'YOURCONFIG' 4) cd /sys/compile/'YOURCONFIG'; make depend; make; make install -DG David Greenman Core-team/Principal Architect, The FreeBSD Project
