It comes from missing /boot.config and /boot.help > files. ;-) Not from your boot manager, from FreeBSD's bootblocks. This apparently came about as a result of a problem near the end of the installation when the machine crashed. Sorry to report these events were happening so fast I couldn't provide a very accurate description. For a few seconds a warning notice was displayed describing an impending crash and to advise jkh, is there a logfile written which would be of any help ? kim -- kimc@w8hd.org
