If it is possible for hardware, BIOS updateing or hacking is needed,
I think, but I am not sure :-)

I wander that optional memories by third parties have a slight
difference from TOSHIBA's. Some of us bought third party memories for
Libretto20/30, but they could not succeed to use XFree86 for 16bpp
mode, bucause these memories conflict linear mapping.
Then I bought the optional memory for Libretto50 from TOSHIBA.
