The other thing to consider is the scsi disk like a Seagate Barracuda: SEAGATE ST34501W 10000 rpms is nice to have 8) Once you get the equipment is put this in your kernel config file for maximum performance: options AHC_TAGENABLE options AHC_SCBPAGING_ENABLE options AHC_ALLOW_MEMIO Cheers, Amancio
