I probably should have been more explanatory, but as you say I'm a bit short on email time at the moment. Please don't take this the wrong way, but what motivated my reply was the fact that your message could have been a practical excerpt of conversations that have gone before, some as long as 3 years ago. Not one of the goals or proposed methods you suggested were in any way new - it's all been said before. What would be new is someone actually implementing all that stuff, and hence my reply. :-) I also have fond hopes for Mike Smith's efforts, of course, but it goes without saying that he's not going to be able to add all those creture comfort features alone. I hope that others will be more forthcoming with actual code so that the goals expoused by yourself and many others before you can actually be realized.
