BZZST!, none of the above, we need to be able to do VESA BIOS calls
from within the kernel. Give me THAT and I'll give you modes & linear
buffer and what have you.
Stop all the other bullshit, its only going to provide <50% solutions
and will only run on a very limitted set of hardware, period.
