Or someone could give a try at a Java program . We have postgress and the jdbc interface to postgress appears to work;additionally, Java Workshop works on FreeBSD. In terms of setting up services or servers , JACE also works on FreeBSD. jdbc is a java wrapper for accessing databases. jace is Java version of the C++ Adaptive Communication Environment (ACE) http://www.cs.wustl.edu/~schmidt/JACE.html For info on setting up SUN's Java Workshop on FreeBSD see: http://www.freebsd.org/java/ Java Workshop -- you can download a 30 day trial version: http://www.sun.com/workshop/java/ Cheers, Amancio To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-multimedia" in the body of the message
