If Joe Sixpack wants to say that there's a typo in the FAQ or suggest a way to make the Handbook clearer, why force him to read everything else sent to the list? Likewise, -www, -ports, and -questions all get a lot of comments and questions from people who have no reason to subscribe. (Not to mention the inconvenience to those who post from all sorts of random places.)
