Heck, no.  This list, in particular, is freebsd-doc.  If Joe Sixpack
wants to say that there's a typo in the FAQ or suggest a way to make
the Handbook clearer, why force him to read everything else sent
to the list?  Likewise, -www, -ports, and -questions all get a lot of
comments and questions from people who have no reason to subscribe.

(Not to mention the inconvenience to those who post from all sorts
of random places.)

This topic has been discussed with great frequency, and surely you
can find it in the archives. :-)
