I tried a more recent package but it did not work at all. I have no idea if there are any more recent ones. As far as stability goes, from what I have seen it is about as stable as Netscape. You'll probly get a few errors (non fatal) and there is no java support, but it does seem to work quite well for me, and only uses half the memory of netscape.
