I have been reading older man pages vs 2.2.7 and RFC's about pppd options. My question is why has the +ua option in conjunction with a "login" file as applied to pap authentication has been declared obsolete in favor of the pap-secrets file in conjunction with the "name", "domain", "user", and other options?
