Hmmm. I don't did anything with my 'hostname'. It valid.. I think, I understand the problem. Look here: If default route exists and connection isn't established than gethostbyname () trying to get host by name via DNS server which isn't here. I think You should do anything with it. Please don't advice me to insert my hostname to /etc/hosts and set 'hosts' first in /etc/host.conf just because FreeBSD has default with 'bind' prior to 'hosts'. For what do You want to call function gethostbyname ()? May be it will better to call it after executing ppp.conf to make user able to 'delete! default' before gethostbyname () called?
