Yes, true.. I was just bemoaning the use of the work driver itself..

Nothing really, but since mkhybrid is a superset of mkisofs you may as well use it..
Actually, mkhybrid supports arbitrary tree grafting which is quite neat, but for the
above mentioned application it would be irrelevant.
