At line 816 of pcic.c, the following lines exist:
#endif /* PC98 */
if (validslots && pcic_irq <= 0)
pcictimeout_ch = timeout(pcictimeout, 0, hz/2);
Modify the line to look like:
if (validslots)
And it should work. See previous archived email for reason why it works
and why the code is the way it is.
