Can you expand on "crashes"?  We only have 1GB in the machine here, so 
obviously we haven't seen this one.  It'd probably be fairly 
straightforward to track it down once we know what's going on.

You'll want to take this to -scsi.

My gut feeling is that there's something sized wrongly here; If Micron 
had come through with the SC450NX for wcarchive, I'd expect that David 
would have run into this by now; you might want to take it up with him 
directly.
