Some thoughts to what might be happening:

- pnp init may fail in some way
- dynalink driver might not work with FreeBSD 3.0, maybe
- irq conflict
- i4b might not work with FreeBSD 3.0 correctly
- i4b might not work correctly with your isdn switch
- i4b config error (own MSN, for example)

I've never tested the driver with anything else than FreeBSD 2.2.6/2.2.8
and my one Dynalink card. There have been reports of people using the
driver with an Asus card.

I'm afraid I can't help you much anymore, I don't know i4b that well, I
just ported the low-level driver.
