I have yet to see a skip, but I haven't really been overtaxing the machine here. I've got winamp at home, now that thing skips like a schoolgirl ;-) There might be a knob for buffering, or now that I'm thinking about it, there's a 32k buffer allocated in mpg123.c, maybe that could be bumped. > >> I have not tried any of the skins yet but I going to soon. For some reason it doesn't remember what skin I was using >and loads the default each time, but no biggy. What I've seen is that if you unzip the skins, it'll re-use that one next time you start. The skin is saved in ~/.x11amp/config; if you use a zipped skin it shows up something like /var/tmp/XXX. But If you unzip the skin in your ~/.x11amp/Skins/ dir, it'll point to that. Anyway if you find a skin you like, unzip it in your Skins dir and it'll be persistant. Eric -- Eric L.
