Did you check whether this is also applicable to the files converted
from .m to .h/.c (newbus macro files)? I've noticed a few times that I
had problems building the kernel without doing make depend.
It certainly falls over on usb_if.h device_if.h and friends when I build
the kernel with -j 4 without a make depend first.
