Just to add to my previous note... I tried netscape 4.08 and get
exactly the same error.

Although, I'm not using the package - I ftp'd the stuff from ftp.netscape.com
and ran ns-install (which has always been adequate before...)

This is on a clean, freshly-installed 3.1-RELEASE system, straight from
the Walnut Creek CDs.

Does anyone have any ideas?
