Amancio Hasty scribbled this message on Apr 26: > See if this program works any better for you. well, I ran the program, and timed how long it took to run and it captured 302 frames in 16.37 real seconds (0.02 user, 0.01 sys), which means it only got ~18.33 fps which isn't even close... and just so you know, I based my code off your earlier version that wrote out jpeg files instead of nothing.. :) I converted your program to use continous mode, and I got even worse performance... took 20.22 real seconds which is ~14.94 fps or skipping every other frame... though I'm not seeing the signal storm I see with my own program... I'm going to double check that I have the bt848 init ioctls in the same order you do... I do plan on publicly releasing the code once I get it done, just needs to be cleaned up so you actually provide command line arguments to set the various options.. :) -- John-Mark Gurney Voice: +1 541 684 8449 Cu Networking P.O.
