Their developer communities, of course.  The two mailers I use (mutt
and exmh) both had to have explicit support for PGP 5 added.  (exmh's
support is still under development, for the record.)

Just to make things even more interesting, gpg uses a completely
different set of command line flags and arguments for either PGP 2 or
PGP 5.  :-p
