Unfortunately, you've forgotton to update the page:

  http://www.freebsd.org/ports/www.html

which is still showing the port as "apache-1.3.6+ssl-1.35"

Thanks for your perseverance... As you probably worked out, I do very
little in the port - configuration is entirely with apache-ssl itself...
if you needed to tweak anything to get it to work, please send me a diff
and I'll get it rolled back into the master package.
