I was using COMPAT_43 to squeeze every last byte out of a couple of old 486 machines with very little memory. Marcel's signal changes broke that. I told him about it, and he said he was working on it. That was quite a while ago. Now, for COMPAT_43 being totally optional...dunno. I'm sure if I actually used those two machine for development/porting/whatnot, I might run into problems. For what I used them for, it works fine. E.g. if I lose the harddisk on either machine, I just reinstall. They are just there for testing purposes. -Mike -- Mike Pritchard mpp@FreeBSD.org or mpp@mppsystems.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
