If your ADSL provider uses PPPoE, you'll probably want to look into
netgraph. Mine doesn't. The only thing I needed was support for a
network card, and then use the default DHCP client, dhclient. Next
year could be a month away or twelve months away. Ifd it's going to be
awhile, I'd wait until you get it before making any major purchasing
