Last time ade did this to one of my ports, I asked for explanation. Why
do _always_ care for the version number? If the dependency is not
installed yet -- the latest one will be built anyway. And if an older
version is installed (say freetype-2.0.2) -- who cares?
I'm not saying this change is wrong, I just understand, why not omit the
library version number altogether (unless it is important -- some bug
fixed, etc.)? Like:
LIB_DEPEND= freetype2:${PORTSDIR}/.../
Ade is yet to respond (only a month or so). Could someone clue me in?
