I don't have first hand experience on your issue, but I was wondering if you already instituted Quotas on the system? It is likely that Postfix will detect that it can not get more mail to a particular recipient when it exceeds it's quota. This should be easy enough for you to test. -Install quotas -Set quota for a mail user to the size you want -Send enough mails to the user to guarantee that the emails will exceed quota. Good luck.
