Aha - that was certainly a basic misunderstanding of mine. I had
gotten the impression these patches added support for Cardbus, and
therefore I should use the configuration from NEWCARD in -current.

I already had -i 11. Adding -I made this configuration actually work!

Well, more or less. It sometimes hangs when reinserting the card after
a removal, where OLDCARD works. I've also had some hangs during boot.
