I have a Lexmark Z52 that I tried, and failed, to print to thru Solaris. This printer is a GDI printer, which means it will probably only work through Windows. I was furious when I discovered this, as it's not stated in the documentation and I ONLY bought it to replace a printer which was also a GDI printer. If you have a Windows box nearby, try to share it there and print to it via Samba.
