Well, notwithstanding the old "if it's worth doing, do it right" maxim, if I can get something in for these elements, then it'll be all the easier for everyone else to go in and change stuff they don't like. Obviously this doesn't mean that I'm intending to do a half-cocked job, and I hope it's appreciated what I mean by that. Any patches for this be made available well before any commits happen; I just wanted to get some early feedback before ploughing in.
