In message: <20020723132152.GJ463@bombur.guldan.demon.nl> Robert **UNKNOWN CHARSET** <freebsd@guldan.demon.nl> writes: : bridging does work, i have had it working with an sitecom wireless : adaptor a Prism2 chipset card and a standard ethernet ne2000 ed0 : interface. I worked i could get dhcp responses and network traffic over : the bridge. Just by following the man page of the wi driver. Actually, bridging mostly works. However, I've found that I can't attach Cisco and a few other cards when bridging is enabled. It apperas that somehow those packets don't wind up in the right place, but instead go over the bridge (which makes no sense to me having stared at the code, but I've had it happen to me time and time again). This is with BRIDGE, not ng_bridge. I've not investigated the latter. Warner To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
