Running moused -i all -p /dev/psm0 gave I just got one o' them IntelliMouse things, and had an interesting experience. If I started moused with -z 4, the X server (XFree86 4.2.0) sees mouse buttons 75 and 80. Using ZAxisMapping in the XFree86 config makes things all better.
