First of all: it is 100% reproducible on the AS500. It triggers when one (on a serial console) selects the terminal type and sysinstall starts. I tried RC1 also on a NoName (AXPpci33) and that gives me: Copyright (c) 1992-2002 The FreeBSD Project.
