Ahh - this is the problem: updating cache .././config.cache ltconfig: `/usr/local/share/libtool/ltmain.sh' does not exist Try `ltconfig --help' for more information. configure: error: libtool configure failed configure: error: ./configure failed for glib-1.2.8 Installing a newer libtool from ports fixed it.
