Choose Post install Configuration, Distributions, Games. The whole thing is only about 5Mbytes, 3.5M of which is fortune data files. To get a fortune from freebsd-tips simply type 'fortune freebsd-tips'. I find it rather soothing to use the xscreensaver program in StarWars mode which simulates the Star Wars film intro graphics, but with text from the fortune database :) --=20 John.
