Yes.  Or bribe someone else to get it to compile/install/whatever and
then make a port of it, especially if it (or some dependency) needs a
patch to run on FreeBSD.

I pointed Hunter to current@ and chat@ originally.  He did post to
current@, and there was some discussion there.

I also thought of hackers@ (it's off-topic, but no more so than a bunch
of other posts I've seen there).
