Contrary to previous thought, the SCSI drive is not the issue it works flawlessly. It is instead acd0: CDROM <SAMSUNG CD-ROM SC-148C> at ata2-master PIO4 I've verified this by simply unplugging the cable and booting. It works without, but not with. I check the Hardware notes (i386) for 5.0 SAMSUNG does not appear on the page. Its probably a little over my head, but I'd willing to try to add support for this if I could get a few starting pointers. On Friday 09 May 2003 20:55, Philip M.
