Hi, After all, SUN recognise the FreeBSD box with 3COM 3C996-SX by setting adv_1000autoneg_cap = 0 in /kernel/drv/ge.conf on Solaris, As 3COM 3C996-SX does not support MIIbus, my patch I wrote last year was meaningless.
